A bonanza of footballing talent graced the Norwich City Football Club pitch as LEES and friends of the practice took to the field.
In the LEES inaugural soccer challenge 2008, anyone capable of displaying a modicum of co-ordination was invited to show off their skills. Whether it was wise to risk so many professional careers in semi-friendly contests and blistering heat has been debated since, however a surprisingly high quality of play resulted.
The winner was football... and the loser was Des Fitzgerald seen here losing his footing after being nudged by LEES director Iain Clayton, as Lisa Craggs looks on.
